As a KEPH Level Two Health Facility
Mutomo Medical and Lab Services journey began in 2012, when a medical laboratory was established to address the local need for quality and accessible laboratory services to the people in Mutomo Town.
Over the years, Mutomo Medical and Lab Services has grown in leaps and bounds. In 2020, it acquired its own building premises for its operations along Kibwezi-Kitui Road in Kitui County. Then in 2023, we were accredited by NHIF as a KEPH level 2 health facility. We are glad to be serving over 400 patients in a month while having over ten qualified healthcare professionals. We are well positioned to provide compassionate, affordable and quality services.

Our primary eye care includes: 1. Promotion of eye health care 2. Screening for eye diseases 3. Treatment of conditions that may lead to visual loss 4. Fitting and prescribing optical aids
